My little brother is 14

I hate how my younger siblings grow so fast. They used to be so small and cute... Hehe. Not that they're not now, but they just grew too fast!

Ipan's birthday was on September 9th but since he's so far away, we wished him through the phone. But he came back from his boarding school before Abang went back to The States. So we planned to surprise him the night he came back. We invited only his close friends who live in the same building as us and because we knew his friends love karaoke, Mom said we might as well make it a karaoke party at Red Box.

We were given 9pm to 1am. Guess what time we went back home? 4 in the freaking morning!! It was definitely one amazing night. Despite everything that happened before, I had a great time with them. Trust me, you don't even want to know what happened because they were too many incidents even before we reached Red Box. The boys said it was my bad-luck-day. The ice cream cake melted in Summer (my car), for God's sake. And that wasn't even the worst part.

But like I said, the night turned out great after all, Alhamdulillah :)

And.. because it was melted, we decided to just dig in without plates. I know it's gross and looks disgusting but it tasted so good!

Oh my Summer!

If you don't already know, I named my stuffs. Not every single thing I own, no. Just the big things, like the ones I use everyday.

So, meet my..

Phone, her name is Foxy.

Old laptop was Whitey.

Now I haven't figure out the name for my new laptop, so if you have ideas, let me know!

But the most precious thing ever, is my car.

Her name is Summer.

Want to know where I got that name?

I love The OC and I'm obsessed with Seth and Summer. Was about to named my car Seth but I decided to have a female car. So I named her Summer instead. And it occurred to me that Summer (as in the season, not Rachel Bilson in The OC) is always bright and hot. My car is bright hot red, so I think Summer suits my car very well. You must think I'm so weird right now..

But anyway, I love love love Summer to the core. Food is strictly prohibited, drinks are allowed occasionally, windows can be open only to pay tolls or to take tickets because I don't want dusts in my car and of course, A BIG NO for farts. Hehe.

Last Monday, Zahir bought McDonalds and wanted to eat at home, but I don't know how, the Coke fell off from the bottle compartment. The Coke spilled all over the car carpet and guess what I did? I threw a tantrum and cried. HAHAHAHAHA when I think back, it's kind of funny. I'm such a cry baby.

That was just COKE.

On Wednesday, I was driving alone to college. Suddenly, I saw a block of wood bigger than a shoe box flew in front my car. At 120km/h, I couldn't hit the brake pedal as I was scared the car behind me will hit me. So I just let go of the gas pedal but the thing hit my car, nevertheless. The sound was so loud, I was panicked but I couldn't stop as I was on a highway. I was shivering and as soon as I arrived in college, I called Dad. My car was scratched and dented. Even the car's logo in front was cracked. I wanted to cry but I was in class. I had to suck it in.

How could I NOT cry after seeing this happened to my Summer??? :'(

After a few lectures of me not being focus and not alert on the road by Dad, we sent the car to the workshop. It took only one day for the mechanic to fix Summer.

Yesterday, I went to pick Summer up and was so relieved she's okay!

As good as new!! Alhamdulillah everything's fine now.

Be extra careful when you're driving. You won't know what's in store for you!

Unlucky Thursday

I think God is trying to test me today. I knew I should have followed my instinct and skip today's class. But I don't know why, I was determine to go. Maybe because this week is the last week of classes and next week is the study week. So I thought, I shouldn't waste a class when it's the last one for this semester.

I arrived happily, oblivious about what's going to happen next. I parked my car at the usual spot. Though it was an illegal parking space but everyone park their cars there. Every single day. So, at 12pm, I walked in class. By 12.30pm, the class was dismissed because there wasn't much to discuss in class since we have finished the syllabus and all. At 12.30pm, I walked out of class to my car. Then I saw it. A yellow thing stuck to my car's right tyre. My car was clamped!!!!! Without wasting any time, I went straight to the office accompanied by Reena and Mijah. I was given a form that I had to fill in. Then I had to go see the Head of Department which was not a problem because Dr. Anuar is very kind and friendly. He wrote on that form that I only had to pay RM10 for the punishment. I was relieved.....

Until I saw the Senior Assistant of the office. He took my form and wrote 'RM 50' on it. I was speechless and it wasn't like I can say anything to him. He was in charge of these things, this is not Beijing after all, where I can negotiate the price. So, I let it go. Next, I had to go to the Technical guy (I don't know why they need a long procedure just to release a clamp!) to pay the *sigh* RM 50 and release Summer. That was when I lost it. When I knocked the Technical guy's office door, he wasn't in. Note that I waited for him since 1pm, that was when he told me to come back at 2.30pm as he was going for his lunch break. I respected his time, so I had to wait for one a half hour before going back. I waited some more till it was 3pm because I thought maybe he wanted to pray or had some things going on. So by 3pm, when he was still not in, I called. It's a good thing his number was plastered on his door. Guess what he said???

"I'm outside, can you wait another half an hour?"

I was all, that's okay but inside, I was furious! It was 3pm and I was still in college! I should be home, resting instead of wasting my time there waiting for some guy. I had no choice but to wait until 3.40pm, I figured I should give him extra 10 minutes, just in case. But he still wasn't in. I was about to cry because this happened to me. That was when I found another number on his door. Thank God, the other person could help.

FINALY!!!!!!

Poor Summer, she had to wait 3 and a half hours to get her tyre free. RM 50 gone, time gone. What could get any worse? I was so upset that I didn't even remember to take any photos to show here.

With heavy traffic, I reached home at 5pm. How nice.

My life is technicolor

I got my freaking car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I just can't get over the fact that my family and Lover surprised me with a red Beetle this morning. YES, A FREAKING RED BEETLE, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I have to calm down but I can't. I own a car, finally. And the fact that it's my dream car since I was little is like, I don't know. It's like I was dreaming when they surprised me in the parking lot. The feeling when I drive that adorable thing is unexplainable. It's just... I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE A BEETLE. A RED ONE TO BE EXACT. I shouted so loud and didn't stop for like, the whole 15minutes or so till my throat hurts. My dream definitely came true today. So I can scratch 'dream car' off my wish list then :)

I'm back in my hometown in Taiping to visit my sick Grandma. She lives alone, so we figured it'll be better to visit her since we have a day of holiday to add to the weekend. It's good to be here because I haven't been here for so long. Everytime my family wanted to go back to Taiping, I always have something going on like exams or classes. I missed Taiping despite the fact that mosquitos are flying all over me and that it's hot to the extend that I have to shower 85740 times a day. Seriously. Oh I almost forgot, I went out with Ika and Noor just now. Nina tagged along because karaoke is her thing. Lover dropped Nina and I off at Sunway's RedBox and when we entered the room, screams filled the air like haven't met for a gazillion years. Though it sure felt that long. I miss them so much! We sang like there's no tomorrow, I kid you not. Nina and Noor even stand on the sofa and were dancing and everything! Ika then gave me this really amazing card she made. It's so sweet that I almost teared up. I know they had fun as much as I did because I saw the smiles on their faces.

The fact that I got a car and that I met my lovely girlfriends in a day, it's like a dream all together you know. Minus the fact that I miss my lovely boyfriend so much that it hurts literally! I wish I could bring him here to Taiping. I can imagine how we'll go to Taiping Zoo, and we'll talk till late night. It'll be so much fun! Soon okay, sweetcakes? :) Okay my back and legs hurt so bad from sitting for too long in the car. So I'm going to rest while texting my boyfriend. Au Revoir :)
