Sweet Sixteen

I have 3 siblings but only one of them is a girl. Which leaves me with only one sister. Of course, we're all so close with each other but sisters can do all the fun things together. Gossip, talk about shopping and clothes. Now that both my brothers went away to US and Pahang for their studies, I'm left at home with only one sibling, my sister. She turned 16 last Friday, so I planned a small surprise and a family dinner that night. Nothing fancy but I was glad she liked it!

My dad went to Pahang to fetch my little brother from his boarding school that morning, so everything was on me. I had to go out and ran all the errands, luckily Zahir was so nice to drive me around to buy the cupcakes, the candles, balloons, cards, the crown.. I was exhausted but it was all worth it! I had to do all the tasks as fast as I could as I had to get back home and prepare for the little surprise before she comes home from school. I arranged the cupcakes, a present and a card on the dining table. Since only the birthday girl, Mom, Ginger and I were there (I told you, LITTLE surprise), we didn't prepare much.

She loved the present we got her so much, she even wore it to the dinner that night!

We went to Delicious at Bangsar for a quiet family dinner. Luckily my little brother and Dad arrived on time for the dinner and Zahir joined too. The look on my sister's face was priceless! After we ordered, I took out a box and a card and gave it to her. She was surprised because she didn't expect another present. And guess what??

She cried when she saw a Sereni & Shentel's headband in the box along with a pair of Eiffel Tower earrings. She loves Paris so much, so I know she'd like it. She said she was excited because that was her first Sereni & Shentel!
